NEET (UG) 2026 परीक्षा रद्द: NTA चा मोठा निर्णय, पुन्हा परीक्षा घेण्यात येणार

NEET (UG) 2026 देणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी राष्ट्रीय परीक्षण संस्था म्हणजेच NTA कडून महत्त्वाची घोषणा करण्यात आली आहे. दिनांक 12 मे 2026 रोजी प्रसिद्ध झालेल्या प्रेस रिलीजमध्ये NTA ने स्पष्ट केले आहे की 3 मे 2026 रोजी घेण्यात आलेली NEET UG 2026 परीक्षा रद्द करण्यात आली आहे आणि ही परीक्षा पुन्हा नव्या तारखेला घेतली जाणार आहे.

या निर्णयामागे केंद्र सरकारच्या मान्यतेने आणि संबंधित तपास संस्थांकडून मिळालेल्या माहितीनंतर झालेली सखोल पडताळणी असल्याचे NTA ने सांगितले आहे. परीक्षा प्रक्रियेत पारदर्शकता, निष्पक्षता आणि विश्वास टिकवण्यासाठी हा निर्णय घेण्यात आल्याचे प्रेस रिलीजमध्ये नमूद करण्यात आले आहे.

तसेच, भारत सरकारने हे प्रकरण केंद्रीय अन्वेषण विभागाकडे (CBI) सविस्तर चौकशीसाठी पाठवण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. NTA ने या चौकशीत पूर्ण सहकार्य करणार असल्याचे सांगितले असून, आवश्यक सर्व कागदपत्रे, नोंदी आणि मदत CBI ला दिली जाणार आहे.

विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी दिलासादायक बाब म्हणजे पुन्हा नोंदणी करण्याची गरज नाही. मे 2026 सायकलमध्ये दिलेले नोंदणी तपशील, उमेदवारी माहिती आणि परीक्षा केंद्रांची निवड नव्या परीक्षेसाठी कायम ठेवण्यात येणार आहे. तसेच अतिरिक्त परीक्षा शुल्क आकारले जाणार नाही, आणि भरलेले शुल्क परत मिळण्याचीही तरतूद आहे.

NEET (UG) 2026 Exam Cancelled: NTA Announces Re-Examination After Decision on 3 May 2026 Test

The National Testing Agency has announced a major update for NEET (UG) 2026 candidates. In its press release dated 12 May 2026, NTA stated that the NEET UG 2026 examination conducted on 3 May 2026 has been cancelled and will be re-conducted on separate dates to be notified later.

According to the press release, this decision was taken after the agency examined inputs from central agencies and law enforcement findings, with the approval of the Government of India. NTA said the current examination process could not be allowed to stand and that the decision was taken to ensure transparency, fairness, and credibility in the national examination system.

The Government of India has also decided to refer the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a comprehensive inquiry. NTA has said it will fully cooperate with the investigation and provide all records, materials, and assistance required by the Bureau.

Importantly, students do not need to register again for the re-conducted exam. The registration data, candidature details, and examination centres already selected for the May 2026 cycle will be carried forward. NTA also clarified that no additional exam fee will be charged, and fees already paid will be refunded where applicable.

The agency has asked students and parents to rely only on official NTA channels for updates such as the new exam date and re-issued admit card schedule.
